Alumni from class years ending in 1 and 6 returned to campus May 29-31, joined by generations of Sonneteers celebrating the 75th anniversary of Skidmore's first a cappella singing group. Together, alumni raised an inspiring total of $16,579,019 for Skidmore.

Mostly Modern Festival ‌

The , an international music festival that celebrates fresh and fun classical music, returns for its seventh season June 5–20 in Zankel Music Center. Tickets can be or at Zankel box office. Walk-ups are welcome. Students, faculty, and staff may attend free of charge by showing their ID.

‌Planned power outage ‌

Facilities Services will conduct a campuswide planned power outage for high-voltage maintenance from 6 a.m. to noon Sunday, June 20. Contact facilities@skidmore.edu with questions.‌

Gather in Pride 

Join us from 3 to 4 p.m. Monday, June 15 at the Wyckoff Center for Gather in Pride, a college-wide celebration of LGBTQIA+ Pride Month focused on community, creativity, and connection. Enjoy refreshments, creative activities, and time to connect while honoring the history, resilience, and contributions of LGBTQIA+ communities. All members of the campus community are welcome.

Pride Stories Collaborative LGBTQIA+ Storytelling 

In collaboration with Saratoga Pride, the Saratoga Springs Preservation Foundation, SUNY Empire State University, and the Saratoga Springs Public Library, will host , an LGBTQIA+ storytelling event at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, June 18 at the Spring Street Gallery. Share a story or meaningful item celebrating local LGBTQIA+ history and community.

 

Pop-up grill is back 

Beginning June 3, the pop-up grill will be available from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesdays and Thursdays throughout the summer outside Burgess Café. The menu includes burgers, hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, and more. A combo meal is $8.49 and includes a choice of two sides and a drink.

employees can receive 20% off tickets to Saratoga Jazz Festival, New York City Ballet, and Philadelphia Orchestra performances this summer using the promo code SKIDMORE. Volunteers needed 

The New York State Defenders Association is looking for mock jurors to serve in a public defender trail training. Volunteers are needed Tuesday, June 9, from 8:30 a.m. to12:30 p.m. in Gannett Auditorium. Light breakfast and lunch will be provided. Volunteer credit hours can be given if needed. Summer Bulletin publication schedule

From May 20 through Aug. 19, Bulletin will be distributed only to faculty and staff, and students who remain on campus during the summer. It will also continue to be posted online. To submit announcements and events, please complete the online submission form. The deadline for all submissions is noon on Monday. Faculty-staff achievements are not published over the summer.
