Marketa Halova Wolfe, associate professor of economics, published the article “” in The Financial Review. 

Jason Breves, associate professor, and chair of the Department of Biology, delivered an invited lecture at the International Symposium on Aquatic Animal Physiology at the Atmosphere and Ocean Research Institute of the University of Tokyo.

Jill Linz, senior instructor in physics, organized and chaired a special session on “Sound Design and Sonification” at the Acoustical Society of America in Chicago May 8-12. Among the speakers were two alumni, Owen Osborn '02 and Jazer Sibley-Schwartz '02. Linz also delivered a talk on "When a simple demonstration of resonance in a forced oscillation system proved that resonance does not exist" for a special session titled "When doing it right goes wrong" at the conference.
