The ³¬¼¶µõÖÓÄÌin France program, in partnership with the University of Minnesota (UMN), is designed for students at all levels of French language skills (beginner to advanced) to study in Montpellier in southern France. Courses are taught in English and French. The program is available in the fall semester, spring semester, or for the full-year, and strives to integrate students as fully as possible into the academic, cultural, and social life of Montpellier.

Partnership with the university of minnesota

³¬¼¶µõÖÓÄÌpartners with University of Minnesota's Learning Abroad Center in Montpellier to offer the ³¬¼¶µõÖÓÄÌin France program. ³¬¼¶µõÖÓÄÌstudents will be part of UMN's Montpellier program and can choose from 5 academic tracks offered each semester. UMN's program center is located in the center of the city and is staffed by a team of 5 dedicated staff members that advise and support students. Courses offered at the UMN program center are taught soley for students on the program in English or in French. Students on the Advanced Language & Culture or Business tracks will also take courses at one of the of the partner universities in Montpellier.

CREDIT

Coursework taken in France is recorded as direct ³¬¼¶µõÖÓÄÌcredit and will be factored into the ³¬¼¶µõÖÓÄÌGPA. Maturity-level credits taken in France may count toward Skidmore's maturity-level requirements with departmental approval. Please refer to the Course Equivalency Matrix for the ³¬¼¶µõÖÓÄÌcourse equivalents. OCSE staff will work closely with you on your course registration and your course equivalents prior to departure.
